Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he might take up boxing just like Rio Ferdinand after retiring from professional football.

The los blancos star man and reigning world football spoke with Manchester United Legend, Rio Ferdinand in an interview as part of the promo Nike’s new boot.

Ronaldo welcomed his former United teammate to his home in Spain.

While fielding questions in the interview, Ronaldo talked about his unforgettable time at Manchester United before his then record move to Real Madrid.

When asked what he would do after football, Ronaldo thought of taking after Rio Ferdinand who is currently training to be a professional boxer.

“When I retire from football, I will focus on my collections and probably take to boxing like you. Maybe lightweight or something’, Ronaldo told Ferdinand as he laughed.

Ronaldo who has won a plethora of trophies in his football career revealed that winning silverwares remain his Number one motivation.

“Inside the pitch, the most important is always to win trophies because we work 10, 11 months,” Ronaldo said.

“If you don’t win nothing it’s empty, you know? I like to win trophies – collective and individual – because I work hard for that.” He added.

Ronaldo also showed off his collection of footwears from Nike who have been his kit sponsors all through his football career.

Ferdinand had some kick-outs with Ronaldo and his son Cristiano Jnr.
